Merit Awards

The Negley Awards are a series of cash grants presented annually to provider organizations who demonstrate excellence in risk management practices. To be eligible, applicants must be a MHRRG shareholder or a member of the Mental Health Corporations of America or the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare.

The Negley Awards were established in 1990 by Negley Associates, Inc., underwriting managers for the Mental Health Risk Retention Group. They recognize outstanding achievements in risk management by community mental health centers and offer the opportunity to expand services otherwise not available. In addition, winners share their risk management strategies with the mental health community. The winning community mental health centers will be selected from the applicants by the MHRRG Board of Directors.
